I'd try Shavers. 3 weeks ago Crawfish palace was charging $6.95 per pound cooked, live was $6 I think.

You can't buy live on a Friday evening apparently. Think I'm going to try crawfish tyme or farmers today. I did Shavers a few weeks back and they were tiny. I got way, way better crawfish from captain averys in Monroe the next weekend

Is the 2nd best place, those Asians buy them from the wholesale place just South of Alexandria.

Shavers and the likes are just main drag locations that rip you off. Most expensive for the worst size...

I can't find shite man. Crawfish Tyme said maybe at 1, and the only other place with live is Shane's for 5 fricking dollars a pound. This shite is ridiculous. We are in the worst crawfish city in the state

Last week shavers was $3.99 and in my opinion they were too big. Shanes were $3.49 but they give you 1/2 pound of onions. This is cooked prices.

I like boiling my own while I drink beer all day. Apparently that's too much to ask for in this damn town

Yeah live is hard you need to order the weekend before you need them sometimes.

Exactly. If you just stroll up you are going to pay out the arse at Shavers etc..

My buddy is a cook and has a connection through Farmer's. We put in our order a week before, and got them for $2.50 a pound Superbowl Sunday.
