But some of the auto bids have better RPIs than LSU and would likely have made the NIT anyway. Stephen F. Austin, which has an RPI around 65, is an example.

If SFA has an RPI of 65 I missed it. Still we should be in but close. Just depends on how they choose.

There is ZERO chance that they would send LSU to Ruston. Tech would come to BR. And would be summarily disposed of.

Nothing. Look I hope the team makes the NIT for the players sake, but "NIT Champions" doesn't carry much clout.

Our RPI is higher. If we are the higher seed, we'll be hosting. LSU just needs to be saying their prayers that they have a spot in the NIT.
