Spuyten Duyvil and Blind Tiger are both legit.

#1 Spuyten Duyvil - been there. maybe the most pretentious hipster piece of shite bar I've been in. Great beer selection though.

#3 Bulldog -

#7 Blind Tiger (NYC) - might be my favorite bar in the country

It's the third best in New Orleans.

Bukowski's is legit. Spin the wheel to pick which beer you get

No Toronado Pub? Boooooo

We're talking about making an anniversary trip up to Boston and NYC in the fall. I wanna go to Bukowski's big-time. That is right up my alley.

Avoid Friday night during NYC Beer Week. At least if you want to be able to move. Great selection though, I just wish it hadn't been so crowded when I went.

man the beer selection is great, but just the whole vibe of that place is perfect. the people, music, atmosphere. love it.

I mean don't get me wrong, I've had many good nights at the Bulldog, but #3 in a national ranking is beyond unbelievable.

Lady friend's brother used to live in Portland, Maine and told me about Lost Bear. He said it was his favorite bar. I'd love to check them all out. I like The Bulldog a lot, but having it in top 10 list is laughable.

Well, someone from here must be commenting on the article. Here are two good ones that hit the mark...

Seriously? How much research was put into this article? Obviously not much. 50 taps which include Blue Moon, Shock Top Wheat, etc. does not constitute one of the best beer bars in America. For your next article, to research more and you'll run into The Avenue Pub, etc.

Absolutely right...Avenue is one of the best in the country. Love Stein's Deli too. Two musts when I visit New Orleans

Falling Rock Tap House in Denver should be on the list. I was like a kid in a candy store when I walked in there. The people and bartenders in there are also extremely laid back and cool.

I agree. That and a few others in Denver blow the Bulldog away.
