Don't think the saints are done just yet. Cap space is tight, but I still see the saints making a run at one of these two players if either make it out of the potential spots they're in (dumervil in Denver, butler to pit).

Also watch for the saints to bring in a veteran TE to back up jimmy. Sources tell me.

I'd rather Dumerville but cap wise we are probably looking at Butler

All in on Butler

Dumervil too expensive... Will likely go to some douche team like Cardinals or Colts because they have the dough to blow

We probably can't afford Dumerville. I think we get Butler and a veteran blocking TE and that's it for FA.

I'm all about butler too. He's young and has a high ceiling. Stud potential. Oh, did I say he has a good motor?

I would take Butler at 25 as opposed to dumervil at 29. Dumervil is likely lookink at a bigger pay day. I just dont see the Steelers letting him leave.

This is what I'm afraid of. Hopefully the saints and ole Robbie Ryan are in his ear.

Lebeau wanting Butler on the Steelers just makes me want him even more. I really like this guy.

Letting Harrison walk! You know they were probably targeting Butler at a lot less!

I don't remember which game it was... but it was a primetime game with the cowboys and I remember telling myself what a badass Butler is after making a sack.

I want this guy real bad.

thought this was an interesting note today-

Agents have noticed teams were operating a little differently in free agency this year. They would negotiate with their first choice at a position, but if those negotiations stalled, they quickly turned the page and went to their backup plan. What happened with Wes Welker and Danny Amendola in New England was a microcosm of what was going on all over the league. It most cases, it happened with considerably less fanfare.

On a whole too I see teams having more discipline and not spendy as much crazy money on players. With the cap not growing like it did in past years budget mgmt becomes even more critical to team success.
