when I mean odd I mean a movie that maybe isn't meant to have scenes that people would normally cry to.

King Kong

Skyline. I cried in mourning for the money I spent to see it.

The only movie a man is allowed to cry during is Brian's Song. Personally, the only movie I've ever cried watching is Rudy.

I felt bad for the Kong. All he wanted to do was spend time with the woman and everyone just wanted to kill him.

eta: I'd get deeper on why but I'm doing something.

I got really creeped out in King Kong when all the guys were getting eaten in the canyon. As for the OP question, I welled up in Watchmen, not a movie to choked up about for the most part.

I didn't cry but used to always get really bummed out when Goose dies in Top Gun. Might have came close to crying a few times.

I was drunk as hell once when this was on and nearly cried when he went to see Goose's wife. We were on a charter bus and I refused to look at the girl next to me for fear that I might cry.

That said, I don't recall ever actually crying for a movie.
