Talked about Fournette and Roberts going to Bama. Said it was no big deal this early but more of a worry for Roberts since he does not have an LSU offer and our DB board is stacked. Said he thinks LF will sign with LSU, more worried about N LA guys leaving.
Said he gets more questions about Sims than anyone but LF and he (Shea) did not think sims looked great in camp last summer and that's why he hasn't been offered, but that could change with camps this summer, but they were not going to offer until they were sure because he would probably committ right away.
Thinks we are in good shape for a g reat class in 2014.
also talked about people (players / recruits) really liking Cameron and what he can bring.
nothing earth shattering, but the 247 guys will be all over spring practice.
ETA: Also said he would not be surprised if Tony Brown committed before the summer.

Would HATE to lose out on Cam, first and foremost. We have to lock down the top offensive linemen in the state, especially one of his caliber.
It would also be a bummer if we were to lose Jones, since we need a big time safety class.

He also said that there's a chance that LSU could clean up 10/10 of the state's talent but there would people that freak out if one of them got away.

Talked about Upchurch committment. bigger WR that they like and wanted to get on him early because they think he will blow up this summer and next season. apparently he always like LSU.
They also offerend Shorter who liked his visit and is down to LSU and A&M.
Feels good about Fournette, think LSU has played it well. Not realistic to expect a prospect of his caliber to not take visits and Dixon said anytime he leaves Alabama without committing it was a good visit for LSU
Thinks Dupree is the #1 target among the in state WR they want to get to commit soon, but obviously Noil and Quinn are also top priorities.
