It's scary to think what it would be like if BF3 didn't come out when it did. An alternative that was actually successful.

I completely agree with everything this guy said.

Call of Duty has killed (and not in a good way) every other FPS out there. COD no matter how much they try and change it, is a run and gun game that doesn't require much team work at all. This type of game appeals to the masses of 10-16 year olds who have their parents purchase the game for them.

Games like Warfighter, Battlefield, Ghost Recon, and even Brink are shunned because of the teamwork required to play. Brink was a great game, but it's shelf life was shite because nobody wanted to work together to capture objectives (there was no team deathmatch mode).

People don't like Battlefield because of the realism in bullet trajectory. They think you should be able to take your pistol, aim it across the map right at the persons head and pull the trigger to get an immediate result. They don't want to aim above someones head to account for bullet drop, etc.

It was just a bad game. The bizarre SP/MP integration was terrible, you'd end up playing against or with at least 70% bots.

I love when people say they are tired of FPS and they have only played COD.

At the beginning of blops I was terrible and got my arse whooped every game

That didn't stop me from playing. The game was fun as shite and eventually I became good at the game

Same for me, except I don't consider myself good. I just figured a set up that makes it almost impossible to kill me as long as you have at least one player working with you.

You could have at least given him the slimmed-down Snooki.

I did. I was never really in to anything "heavy", but my brother would always make me listen to the System CD's he had. I didn't hate them.

When the majority of the people playing an M-rated game are 10 year old kids, I think they've dumbed it down too much.

It's gotten fricking stupid now. Way too many scorestreaks, no scoping with the DSR50 is ridiculous and still unfixed, and more weapons/attachments that require no skill whatsoever besides simply just pressing the trigger once or twice. Like another poster said, the auto-aim thing is ridiculous.
