I know it's early but how are you feeling about this year?

I know it's very early on and I have faith in our FO, Payton, and Drew, but at some point you have to be realistic about your competition. 2 years ago I would have said it was Saints or Packers no matter what. I still don't think the Giants were the best team that year in the NFC (they just put it together at the right time). But now I honestly feel like I can't say we are definitely better than at least 3, possibly 4 teams, and it's slightly worrisome. I guess that's what makes it more fun though when we succeed. Am I alone in this, or do others feel the same? In any sense can't wait to see what Payton can do after a full year to sit back and prepare for this.

First game was rough, but it's pre-season. We'll see how the guys rally this week.

Haha, I'm not throwing in the towel or jumping ship by any means ever, let alone March. Just a reflection on how much other teams are improving.

Same thing was said about the eagles and look what happened.
Other teams should be pissing their pants in fear of the Payton Revenge tour.

This is true, but they were replacing a considerable amount of people on D with new faces, and it was well stated that their front 7 was too small. A lot of teams with established pieces are upgrading in a big way to just 1 or 2 spots, while keeping the rest of their talent in place.

Only problem is Seattle and SF are significantly tougher than that eagles team could dream of being. If kapernick and Wilson continue to progress they are hands down the most complete teams in the league. BUT it will likely come down to qb play in the playoffs and fortunately one of them is going on the road come playoff time. If we can take the division (which we will definitely be in the hunt for, we've got as good a shot as anyone. I just hope we have the O line figured out because the NFC is pretty loaded.
ETA:I am a bit concerned about our offense going forward. Colston and Moore are aging, Morgan is growing and who knows who 4 and 5 will be. Sproles is close to 30, Ingram is what he is, and PT is always solid. We will likely have 2 new tackles protecting Brees. We've had phenomenal offenses under Payton but like I've said before all big numbers aren't created equal. Are we putting up those numbers jumping on opponents and putting the pressure on them. Or are we putting them up desperately trying to catch up in the 4th qquarter down multiple scores to come up a few points short after going stagnant for large chunks of the game like last year, 08, and those clunker games in 10.

Kinda confusing because the defense didn't give up points!

I'm flattered to have the disapproval of a 15 year old.

Everyday that passes right now, is one day of walking out of the shadow of that horrible situation from last year. I don't even refer to it by name anymore.
So I am extremely optimistic.

I've worn boxers since puberty, but I'm thinking of making the switch to boxer briefs. I'm worried about skid marks though. I'm pretty sure I shite on my legs a couple of times a day.

Sean Payton is back so there's that, it's tough to sit here and feel good about this season while everyone in the conference is improving but us currently but there's a long term plan. However there's a lot of subtle improvements that have been made with Wilson/Galette probably gaining more time on the field this upcoming season.
I like most of the corners that Saints have been linked to so if we can sign any of those that'd be great, then plus obviously the draft. I'm not worried at all until the players hit the field.

Working out/being active = boxer briefs.
Boxers any other time.
