Pretty fair assessment IMHO.......

quote:

... It’s still LSU and it’s still going to be loaded with next level talent all across the board, even with so many huge losses early to the NFL. The holes will be filled by more NFL talents – at least that’s the hope – but more than anything else, give Les Miles credit for recognizing that a few things have to be changed and tweaked to win another national championship.

quote:

The Tigers have to be more consistent throwing the ball. There hasn't been a more talented team in college football over the last few seasons, but Alabama has turned into a tremendously efficient passing team, while LSU has sputtered and coughed. Zach Mettenberger has to be better, but the offense will turn out to be fine with a strong offensive line and a good bevy of backs; now the receiving corps has to do more. Part of the problem was an O line that allowed too many sacks, but the passing game simply has to be crisper.

quote:

Realistic Best Case Record: 12-0
Worst Case Record: 8-4
Likely Finish: 10-2

Pre-Preseason Projected Wins: TCU, UAB, Kent State, Auburn, at Georgia, at Mississippi State, Florida, Furman, Texas A&M, Arkansas

Pre-Preseason Projected Losses: at Ole Miss, at Alabama

and there's this...

quote:

While there might not be a slew of superstar receiver recruits coming in, Rickey Jefferson and JUCO transfer Quantavius Leslie are eventual starters.

Rickey's legal stuff notwithstanding, he's no WR. maybe they got the little bros mixed up?

I really dont understand why people think OM will all of a sudden be a good team... This is football and it doesnt happen overnight.

someone hasn't been paying attention to CFB for the last forever. They don't have to win the BCS CG to be good or capable of beating us at home. The damn near beat us in TS last year

the passing game has to be better and more consistent – like it was in 2007 under offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher -

Oops. Though you take the fail out of that statement, I and everyone here agrees

They do have reasoning...

quote:

After going between the hedges, it’s more cowbell time at Mississippi State before hosting Florida and going to Ole Miss. The Tigers should be the better team, but what kind of a state will they be in against the Rebels?

There have been several threads on this board predicting our record for next year. Most posters predicted somewhere between 2 and 3 losses. Yet when a website predicts 2 losses, everyone gets extreme butthurt.

I think they just picked the team they fought most likely to beat LSU for that second loss. I doubt they get that right, but they might get the record right.

My spring time prediction..,

14-0.

I understand the argument.... I just would consider it more disrespect if they predicted we lose to UF or A&M on our own turf.

I agree with this assessment. I think it's realistic. I think the offense will playing to their full potential next year. Less penalties, less sacks, and more receptions from a weathered receiving core. Jarvis Landry will be a BEAST next year.
