Any word on LSU's movement in the recruiting/scouting department?

Just curious. Haven't seen much on this. With the rule changes, a lot of SEC schools are already jumping on it. Bama is supposedly building one that rivals some NFL teams. Florida/Georgia have big ones as well. What did LSU do in this area?

I'm interested in this myself. Bama will way overdo it and force everyone to keep up. They will push the limits of the definitions of who and what is allowed.
Terrible rule change.

Actually the rule changes have been suspended pending further consideration by the NCAA.

The changes may be modified, or removed all together. Up in the air right now.

I'll see if I can find the link, but its been posted on here and the SEC RB already.

The NCAA has announced to its membership that the recruiting deregulation proposals that were the cornerstone of the Rules Working Group Package passed by the Board of Directors in January will be reconsidered by the BoD at its May meeting.

Good post nation78...we are definitely slow playing this because its looking like it will be overturned. As a result, all those hired by bama and such are put out on the street. Its a fricking mess

Good. I hope it doesn't pass. Rule was terrible to begin with.

Yes, this is a terrible rule & I see no need for this right now. I am very disappoionted that Emmert went along with it in the first place.

I would laugh until I cried if this happens.

Me too, but the greatest "person" in the country has Emmert's ear at any time.

Me too.

Whats funny is that a Bama poster commented on the thread on the SEC RB regarding this... He said "good then we won't have to go hire a bunch of people"...

Bama posters started claiming that all of these hires were normal and were just to replace vacant positions...

One day they are way ahead of everyone on the new recruiting rules because of all the hires they have made... the next day they claim those hires had nothing to do with the change in recruiting regulations...

Revisionism at its best.

If someone's doing it for Cristobal, they must have an intern program with a local Jr High.
