Portland Trail Blazers - also promotes American hegemony and westward expansion

Orlando Magic - promotes witchcraft

These have legs.

quote:

Oklahoma City Thunder - demeans victims of Midwestern storms

Phoenix Suns - promotes global warming

Philadelphia Eagles - demeans America itself by portraying the iconic symbol of our country as a petty predator

That's a stretch. I think the Suns promote responsible, renewable energy--an ideal mascot.

A Titan is also a leader in the Ku Klux Klan.

The Titans logo is a flaming T with three stars around it. Three stars often signify the Klan.

I don't think it's offensive. Just coincidences. Especially considering they voted down certain names for the Titans because they could be linked to the Civil War or the old South.

Holy Hell. Moving them to the "offensive logos" list. Thanks for the tip.

I get the shtick, it just makes no sense.

there is a reason Indians is offensive. The teams you listed arent offensive, if they were then people could fight to have them changed.

As I said in the begginning, this is a stupid fricking thread.

If you got the Packers, Nationals, Browns etc... every nickname ever created should be included too.

Packers are overtly corporate and exploit the working class.

Nationals promote excessive nationalism.

Strong consideration. I don't like the attempt to intimidate
