If you take him out of that water, he wakes up. Thus immortal.

Batman knows how to deal with immortal assassins. One of his chief nemesises is one.

Exploding Batarang to the neck, blows his head off, collects head and runs off. Batman wins.

No. He actually can't die. Look it up. Batman would have to remove the curse, then trap him and drown him in a tank that could withstand Deadpools attempts to break out.

It's not impossible to defeat deadpool, it's that these outlandish scenarios fanboys come up with to have Batman outsmart his opponents are excuses for how badly Batman would get the shite kicked out of him by 90% of superhumans. I'm not hating on Batman. He's probably my favorite comic book character when taken alone, but putting him in a world with Superman and Martian Manhunter is fricking stupid.

Yeah I said it.

Ra's al Ghul is not immortal on the same level as Deadpool.

Ra's is only immortal thanks to the Lazarus Pits, and if he gets injured, he has to return to one.

Deadpool is on a whole different level of immortality.

Also, as for your idea of hitting him in the neck with a exploding batarang, there are two things to consider:

1. He has to actually hit him in the neck.

2. Batman doesn't kill. IMO, unless he reawakens Deadpool, that constitutes a breaking of Batman's one rule.

In the end, Deadpool wins hands down.

Batman would build some sort of containment unit for him. I'm still going with Batman.

Except Ras doesn't have super healing and has to go back to the fricking Lazarus Pit every time. Look, I get that Batman is everybody's favorite superhero because he isn't really super, but get real here. A super smart, unpredictable, immortal, nearly invincible assassin who can wield weapons like limbs would beat the hell out of a super smart, predictable, mortal who has had his back broken despite being trained in ninjutsu. If Bane can beat the shite out of Batman, Deadpool can, too.

The reason I go with Batman is he can always find his opponent's weakness and exploit it. Deadpool, while a fricking badass, doesn't have anything going for him Batman hasn't already faced.

Batman stands a better chance against the Hulk than Deadpool. Pretty easy for Batman to do that: use a non-lethal variant of Joker Venom to get the Hulk out of Hulk mode.

It's not like Deadpool has a very obvious weakness to be exploited. With Superman, all you have to do is get kryptonite, which apparently can be found all over the goddamn place, near him, and he faints like a bitch. That's not the case with Deadpool.

But whatever, Batman could kill Thor. Yep. He could. We all know it. Therefore, Batman can kill anyone.

And why, in this silly amalgamation of superheroes world, could Deadpool not do the same thing?

Because Deadpool doesn't fight that way, nor is he a world class chemist. Batman on the other hand does fight like that and he does have incredible knowledge in chemistry.

I agree with the idea that Batman is a badass, but the fact that he is chosen as the winner in almost all situations is just absurd.

I don't think Batman could take down Thor. The other avengers, I can see a way, but Thor's damn hard to beat.

You say fanboys but it's been written that way in comics for 60 years. It's why he's Batman. Not just some dude in a bat suit.

It's why when the JLA are together and you basically have a room full of "gods" and a guy in a bat suit, the gods are in awe of him rather than the other way around.

This is why mixing comic mythologies is silly, imo. It's cool to talk about like we are now, but Thor should not be a part of the Avengers. It's just dumb. He's a god, for chrissakes. He is immortal, he is pretty much all powerful, and he can call on the host of Asgard, who, by the way, are all similar to Thor in power. Yet he's running around with a snarky billionaire in a mechanical suit, a guy whose experiment went wrong, and a dude who was frozen in the 50s.

I loved the movie and the comics are fun, but to me, you want real comics? You want somebody who's done it right and kept away from all that mixing and matching shite? Go with The Sandman by Neil Gaiman. Or Fables by Bill Willingham. Unless the writers have created an entire world in which humankind is mutating or evolving, like they did with X-Men, it is ridiculous start implanting new heroes into stories that have no continuity. But that's just me. I realize I may be in the minority.

I just feel like Batman, as a comic, is great because it isn't set in a world, for the most part, in which people are able to shoot lasers out of their asses and fly. He works in that environment. He doesn't work as well in an environment in which a guy in a cape who can fly, is bulletproof, can run so fast that he actually "turns back time", etc. etc. etc., exists.

Batman has the reputation..but Deadpool isn't bullshittin.

at the end of the day Bruce Wayne is just a man. Wade Wilson is a mutant..with his stamina and healing already giving him the edge over batman.

Martial arts and weapon skills, Deadpool gets that too.

I like batman more though, Huge fan of golden and silver age.

Right, which is why JLA is fricking nonsense. I mean honestly, you want to know why Batman would win in a fight with Deadpool? Because he wouldn't fight Deadpool. He'd walk up to Deadpool, tell Deadpool that he'll help Deadpool find T-Ray and reverse the curse of immortality, and that Deadpool can finally be with Mistress Death (if, somehow, Batman found out that Deadpool is immortal and why he's immortal). Then Deadpool wouldn't even bother fighting him. They'd go off galavanting together to find T-Ray who would point them in the direction of Thanos who would completely annhilate the two of them, end of story. Except for Deadpool, who is immortal, in which case Thanos would wield the infinity gauntlet against Deadpool to subdue him and place him in a cage in space to never be heard from again.

And if you tell me Batman would outsmart Thanos and somehow kill him or trap him or whatever, I'm calling complete bullshite.
