If Georgia had beaten Alabama would they have also kicked notre dames arse in the nc game or would richt have gotten outcoached?

Instead of Lacy and Yeldon running over Mr. Catfish, it would've been Gurley and Marshall.

I think it would have been closer than some of you think.

31-17 Georgia.

Gurley would have abused the Irish defense and run over Te'o. Murray would have air raided the hell out the the defense while Marshall ran past everyone.

Similar outcome. A little closer, but not much.

At the end of the year, I wouldn't of been shocked if Ole Miss beat ND.

Yes.

UGA has vastly superior talent to ND. Richt couldn't have screwed it up.

Similar score to the Bama-ND game.

When's the last time Richt blew out a good ppponent by 3+ TDs? I'm not talking about Hawaii. I'm talking about a team that finished in the top 10, top 15 in the final rankings. It's been a while. Also, Georgia couldn't even beat a shitty Nebraska team by 20+ points. I really doubt they would have come close to dismantling Notre Dame in the same fashion that Alabama did.

Would've been a good bit closer but never really in doubt. Uga likely would've came out a bit nervous like any team not used to playing in that game.

I don't know, but what does that have to do with Notre Dame?

That would've been the biggest fraud of a title game ever.

Georgia would have won big, but different sort of game. ND would have had more success against UGA's defense. UGA's offense would dominate similar to what Alabama did, but would have had to keep the foot on the gas slightly longer due to ND scoring a bit more.

Something like 48-24 would be my guess. Game never in doubt beyond the first half.
