Will a good LT like Lane Johnson or DJ Fluker be available at 15? Or are we going to go defense as planned and pick one up in the later rounds or FA?

Who knows, let's see how the rest of free agency plays out.

No no no a million times no.

Idgaf if Orlando pace or Willie road in their prime is there. Hell no

Unless they can also play defense and get us about 10 sacks

I honestly think we should go with a veteran at that position and draft defense in the 1st round. We need serious help on D and a veteran can fill in for Bushrod.

So many draft questions that can't be answered until FA pans out one way or the other.

No to Fluker.

Idk his stock currently and not to be a homer but Chris Faulk in the 3rd could be a possibility. I do like the idea of trading back in the 1st to grab Menelik Watson, but I go to FSU so yeah i'm just a homer

Is his stock actually that high? He basically didn't play an entire season at LSU last year.

I'd predicted CB or OT with our first pick, and it wouldn't surprise me if there's a run on pass rushers and one of the top 3 OT's falls to 15.

I like Watson in the back end of round 1 too. Fluker is a right tackle. I doubt the team tries to draft OT in the first though. There are still some good veterans out there, plus Charles Brown and Zach Streif both have experience at LT.

Please no Fluker. He might make it to 400 pounds living in New Orleans .

The #15 pick will sign for around 4 years 9.75 million. If you can protect Brees with a day one starter at that price, that is great. I would argue that you can find defensive players that can contribute on defense in the 3rd. Akiem Hicks comes to mind.

Sure. You can also find pro bowl offensive linemen in the third. Jahri Evans comes to mind. Carl nicks comes to mind. Hell, jermon bushrod comes to mind

If a top 3 T is not there then go with what you have or pick one up in the 3 or 4. get this defense younger and faster.
