Stick Steer Boats. I've never seen one down here. Any of y'all?

Any of y'all own one? Driven one? Thoughts on these? Looks pretty fun, but not very fundamental for the marsh...I could be wrong, though

I grew up fishing in one. They are good for perch jerking and bream fishing but not ideal bass fishing IMO.

ive seen some coonasses running hoop nets down in the marsh ride those around. it looked like the had to stick handles though. and they looked homemade

The old terry bass boats came with them. Was lots of them around in the olden days . Yes im old. Damn thing looked like a bath tub.

i grew up fishing in one with my dad. they are pretty handy for freshwater and did a fair job in the marsh also. its nice having the "openness" for kids, etc

Those old Terry bass boats looked like they were ready to tip over at any time.

I grew up in a dura craft stick steer, great for running yo-yo's.

Yes they did. Still see quite a few stick steer boats on toledo bend. Makes it easier to see underwater obstructions.

They are handy for this because you just pull up to your spot and commence to ripping lips. You don't have to get up or move around or anything. I didn't like sitting down low in it bass fishing though.
