My first ever job was working at the Krispy Kreme in Metairie. The first day the manager let me have the devil's food right after they hit the glaze..that was the best

Blue Dot Donuts in Nola. Can't say that I've tried a whole lot of donuts outside of the area though.

They're pretty amazing. Butterfields gives them a run for their money though.

Mister Donut put out this incredible sour cream donut. It is (was) a delicious donut with a nice density, and a very thin translucent glaze only on top, just enough to compliment it perfectly.

Thanks, now I'm craving a couple of them.

They use free range hens, ehich makes the doughnuts orange.

Never had any near as good.

My Birthday cake last year was the giant doughnut.

Donut King in Lake Charles, La for classic donuts.

Donut Plant in NYC for modern more "gourmet" style donuts.
