It has actually been a pleasing week in Europe for managers deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea like Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Villas-Boas. A penny for the thoughts of Roman Abramovich.

Penny too much IMO.

Well everyone knew Jose was the man and smart people realized Carlo was a great manager as well.

AVB though, good or not time will tell, was a terrible fit at Chelsea and honestly it's not like he's doing anything special at Spurs despite having a team built to win right now.

FIFY. I do think that AVB will be pretty successful though, but after he inflamed the egos at Chelsea, he had no shot there.

Honestly, it's not that hard to figure out.

If he has any brains at all and uses his mistakes at Chelsea as valuable learning experiences about how not to do things as a manager I'm sure he'll be fine. He seems to be knowledgable about the game just horrible at man management. He already seems to have learned a lot in that regard.

One simple edit and it sounds like we are talking about Roman here

You would also need to edit out that last sentence.

AVB has done great with player management IMO... As far as the game goes, I think we will learn that after Bale leaves. Although we are in the hunt for 2nd in the EPL and pretty much moved into the quarters of Europa, this must say something about his coaching ability.
