..only UF, Missouri and Tennessee getting it from the SEC.

Arkansas' big lift was beating UF and Tennessee BTB a few weeks ago.

I guess LSU would be the next in the SEC if you showed other SEC teams. Arkansas' RPI is only 8 or so higher than LSU's at this point.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda: If we beat Auburn and USCe early this year, we are just barely in the tourney.

ON THE BUBBLE
Last Four In
Iowa State
Temple
Villanova
Tennessee

First Four Out
Alabama
Kentucky
Southern Miss
Ole Miss

Next Four Out
Maryland
Baylor
Arizona State
Arkansas

Still don't think LSU would have gotten in, but that USC game was/is the killer for me. AU was excusable (first SEC game. On the road), but I said it walking out of the USC game that LSU would come to regret that performance.

Now there's nothing left to do but "win the whole fricking thing (SECT)!" Someone get a cutout of a golden girl where you can take pieces of her clothes off after each win in the tournament!

I'm still holding out hope for the NCAAT.

It would probably take an SECTC to get there, but ruining Ole Miss, Alabama, UK and potentially Tennessee's chances over the next 5 games would be nice.

I think our RPI would be in the low 60s, maybe high 50s if we had beaten both.

The biggest RPI hit of them all was the loss at home vs USCe. Huge RPI hit there because they are absolutely horrible.

I'm starting to worry that all these SEC teams being on the wrong side of the bubble might hurt us with the NIT. 5 SEC teams in a 32 team tourney is a lot.

Only Florida/Mizzou make it unless every other bubble team keeps losing. Little curious as to how Tennessee is barely in right now. The game against Mizzou will be absolutely huge for them.

Is this fun, or what?
Love that we're even having this discussion. I expected us to be in bottom four SEC before the season started.

This is what I was saying last night our RPI is better then Maryland & Arizona State we already bet Arkansas which should count & Baylor has lost 8 of last 11.

We are in better shape the we think.

Gotta go 4-1 in the next 5 at a minimum, which means losing to UF in the SECTCG to even been in the discussion of the last 4 in/out.

Finishing 4-1 would mean we finished the season 7-3 the L10.

Rooting for UK tonight, Tennessee and A&M on Saturday so we can get that 7 seed as long as we beat the Black Bears!
