Has anyone on the MT come across any recent articles on gold? either bullish or bearish? i'm doing a little research and would like both view points.

Gold pros: It's pretty and it makes a hellava electrical conductor.
Cons: It has never paid a dividend or interest, the transaction costs are high, it's illiquid compared to most financial investments and over the past 30 years it has been a terrible inflation hedge.
