Lost yesterday to Ole Miss 0-2. They had more hits than Ole Miss and went cold with runners in scoring position. They had bases loaded with 1 out in the 8th and 9th, no luck. They waisted many opportunities and are doing the same today.

Down 1-6 in the 6th. Just now stringing together some hits but i may be too late.

That's kinda the way it's been so far this season. They've dominated against the lower competition but the bats have gone dead every time they bump into a bigger school.

I still expect them to win the Southland. Plus they'll get another couple of shots at beating Tulane.

As long as Jay Artigues is the coach, SELU will always shite themselves when any form of attention is on them.

Yeah thats how it was last year. These young bats need to show up, such as jamison and bryan. That would take alot of pressure of Haag, Hernandez, Slade, and Rhodes.

All these good teams have to do is be aggressive at the plate and they can win with 4 or 5 runs.

And shutup Broski, they were'nt shite until Artigues.

He's a good mid-major recruiter in the sense that he gets the best talent that the big schools pass on, but he simply can't manage it.

This is the worst team in last 4 or 5years. Just no idea where runs are going to come from.

Only hope is that young bats step up as season goes on

Not the case. The lions are talented just need to put it together.

Final 2-6 Ole Miss. Lions now 8-4.
