Yes i know there have been plenty of threads about seasickness i just want to have some direct questions answered from you guys

Can you do the patch and Dramamine? any issues with both?

Best meal that sits well on your stomach the night before going out

Best thing to eat the morning of going out

Dramamine the night before and morning of? Also patch behind the ear?

Ginger snaps and ginger ale before going? Or while going out?

Any other tidbits of home remedies or things to do and not to do would be great.

Hydration and solid sleep the night before prolly wouldn't hurt either

Goen 60 miles out Friday (waves permitting) after some wahoo!!

avoid milk products.

we usually eat a really heavy meal the night before like steak or chicken fried steak, or grilled/fried fish.

if you think you are getting sick and havent taken anything...... its too late.
dramaine night before and during the day, if you start feeling sick get somewhere that you can sit down with the wind in your face, stare off in the distance at a fixed point and keep your mind on something else.

pot will settle your stomache haha

if you do throw updrink pletny of gatorade to replenish your fluids

I fricken get sea sick on a cruise.. and youre really not supposed to.. I would NOT survive offshore fishing

The only thing that helped me was weed, and I HATE that shite. Someone had smuggled some onto the ship and thats the ONLY thing that helped me from barfing the entire time.

If you think you will get sick, bring plenty of food because as soon as you get back to calm waters you will want to eat everything in sight.

At least that's been the case with me.

I don't get seasick but I'm convinced it's mostly mental.

Probably but I've taken people out that are so worried about getting sick nothing helps.

If they are up chucking to much I will have them get in the water. Seems to balance everything out

If you are already seasick, its too late. Jump in the water and you will be better almost instantly. Otherwise meclizine the night before and the morning BEFORE u get on the boat.

The biggest issue is you're worried about it. This means you will certainly be sick.

If I got seasick like some of the people I've seen, I'd either not go or board the vessel packing like the Honey Badger.
