They had to give up Harden, they weren't going to be able to pay him and still have a complete team. KM, may not be as dynamic as Harden, but he still puts up points like they need him to.

Harden needed his own team. He was clearly not going to work long term as 3rd option. A player like Manu Ginobli being okay with coming off the bench is a super rare thing.

When playing the Lakers, I always breathe a sigh of relief when MWP decides to drive to the hole with the ball.
