Anyone know a good crawfish catering company in Houston? Or one from Louisiana that will come to Houston.

Don't take a chance on one from Houston. You will have seasoning sprinkled on the outside.

First let me preface this by saying I have yet to go eat here, but it is always packed. Supposed to have good crawfish....but will have seasoning sprinkled on it I'm sure by pictures.

I live in Katy...If you are used to eating crawfish from La, pass on Good ol Boys. They aren't bad but of course they sprinkle the seasoning on the outside and most of the time they don't peel worth a damn.

When the wife and kids are in the mood I will take them there. I will get something else off the menu. Overall food is decent. Oysters are good as well.

Look at the corn and potatoes. They should have a redish color to them if they were boiled in the seasoning. I hate this about Houston. There are some good places in Houston but they are most likely originally from LA.

I get crawfish from "The Crawfish Company" which is in Katy. Their crawfish are quality and they're definitely good people. I think they do some kind of catering, might be worth a shot. [LINK]

Go try La Crawfish Express in Pearland. They boil and soak them never sprinkle anything on top.

You should check out Cazans Seafood and Catering. They're out of Crowley.

I know the owner, and he travels to Houston for catering jobs all the time.

Got a sack from him the other day to boil and they were the biggest mudbugs I had seen all year, and it's not even close.

I would avoid hiring someone from Houston. Get someone that knows what they're doing, like Cazan.

I refuse to eat crawfish in houston. my upbringing spoiled me pretty bad.

I think I'll be giving Cazan a hand that weekend actually, so I may be seeing you there, coach.

Great...he said they boil with seasoning in the water. I am expecting crawfish like I would get in Louisiana. If it works out this will not be my last event.

Thanks for putting me at ease. I will be the guy who ordered and paid for the crawfish. Say what's up if you are there.
