LA Tech drops out of Top 25 a week after entering.

So they get in after beating a bad DII team, but drop after boat racing a (relatively) good Utah St team? Don't make no sense.

I don't get it either. They won both games this week by a comfortable margin. I like to troll Tech fans as much as the next guy but only when they screw themselves. They kind of took it in the arse on this one IMO.

Who cares? Just win the counference tourney and get in. It looks like they would be on the bubble if they don't win their tournament according to Lunardi.

I have mixed feelings about this. Part of me is estatic that Tech is out of the Top 25. But at the same time I can't help but feel down that there is still a place called LA Tech. :/

I honestly figured the AD wasn't happy being at 25 so he requested they be ranked higher or not ranked at all.

they shouldn't have been in anyway honestly.
and I like that the voters didnt act in a way where they just automatically keep you or bump you up for going 2-0 during the week.
They should look at the body of work, RPI, AND how they are playing at the time

i caught a little bit of their Utah State game. It was quite possibly the worst court i've seen in college basketball. Rivals Oregons.

I understand their competition has been shite, but those kids can play. They have 4 kids that can score the basketball from the paint or the arch and a real defensive presence in Micheal Kyser/Brandon Gibson.
They will get in the tourney for winning the conference tourney, but thats not the last you will hear of this Bulldawg team.

They almost doubled their votes (from 54 to 100), but they needed more to remain in the Top 25. Not sure how that works.

They rejected their #25 ranking because they were waiting to be ranked in the top 10.
