I read they are targeting by the end of the month. Funny I can run it on ultimate settings with my 7870 but there are people with. 690 that can't play it because of drivers.

That's Prob why, Nvidia is having big problems with this game so far no matter how powerful.

Yeah, but the problems also extend to 3DMark11 now so I think they horked something up with the last drivers. I'm sure it will all get sorted out. I can install the game on my AMD machine and play it there if I have to do so.

Let me know when you start playing. i would like to hear from someone on this board about the pc graphics. This is my first max settings game so I don't have a lot to compare it too.

It's a lot easier to mess something up on a 4 course meal than it is on a bowl of cereal.

I will say, I'm enjoying the hell out of this game. Seems to be pretty good length too, especially if you waste time searching everywhere.
I like the story so far. I haven't really figured out what is going on yet though
Graphics are great. Controls are great. Cutscenes and voice acting is top notch.
I will say that on some of the action sequences, they really chose some gruesome deaths.
Pipe through the head or impaled on tree limb. Sheesh.
Only complaints I have is the lack of variation in button time. It's always the same. Also, some of the camera angles could be better. I'd like that whole "holy shite that's a long way down" feeling more often.
Overall, it's a pretty solid game.

Once you get the grenade launcher you're at the end. I had to put it down yesterday because I was getting destroyed by the AI

I've had the grenade launcher for a while and I just about got to the end. There are other items to get after the GL.

You sure?!!! Could've sworn that was the last weapon. Figured there was only about an hour and a half left.
