I guess now everyone agrees that our two biggest needs going into this summer would be a top tier PG or a solid shooting SF. I just don't know if there is anyone worth getting this year. Lets face it; Chris Paul in all likely hood will not come back to NOLA. Other than him, I guess Teague would be the next choice, but he is restricted, so we probably won't be able to sign him. A few other PGs include Augustin and Calderon. I don't think Dell will want either of those two, since neither is that big of upgrade over Vasquez. As far as a SF, Iguodala and Smith are the obvious best two choices. However, Smith would not upgrade us shooting wise over the Chief. And lets face it, Iguodala is too old and will warrant way more than we would be willing to give him. Brewer could give us needed depth at SF, but he won't be another "superstar" to compliment Gordon or Davis. Other options could be Dorell Wright who is having an extremely disappointing season in Philly. Also, another interesting option would be Brandon Rush. He is struggling to get minutes in GS and could fit our system. Overall, though, I do not think any PG or SF free agents would really upgrade our roster for next year. I think our best option would be to do a sign and trade to get pekovic. Also, I would somehow try to acquire Wilson Chandler. Through the draft, I would draft either Porter or Bennett, if either is there. This should be an interesting summer for Dell!

Neither is an upgrade. Why again should we be worried about replacing our best player this season?

Calderon is a better player than Vasquez.

Yea this is such a huge need. I mean, it's not like we have a cheap, young(ish) player averaging 14 and 9.

DJ Augustin sucks... hard. He's shooting like 35% this year. People get all pissed with Rivers but wanna add someone who shoots a worse percentage than him?
