Do yo-yos really work well for sac-a-lait?

Never tried them, but thinking about it. What do you use for bait?

Excellent for perch/ crappie/ saccalait and catfish.
Bait with shiners for the most part. If you get real spry early summer, break out the catalpa worms for some dynamite yo-yoing.

They work great. Have used them my entire life. We use them for catfish as well in a local bayou where there is a ton of 1-2 lb channel cats. Use shiners for both and real small crawfish also for catfish when we can find them.

They work great. Make sure to not out your shiner deeper than a couple inches deep. It keeps the shiners swimming trying to get deeper and hide.

use shiners, get catfish and white perch, along with the occasional snake or turtle. Used to tear up it up with yo-yos back in the day on Dorcheat bayou.

We used to catch white perch, bream, bass and catfish all the time. Whites are the best, shinners work best, u put them on a 2x4 nailed to a tree or from a tree limb. I used to expect one fish per 5 yoyos set per night if you are not running them all night. Get about two dozen and have at it. Get a child to help you. It is easy and fun

I support this message. I've never seen any sold in Arkansas that weren't Whites brand.
