Anyone ever done it?? I've tried several bloody mary mixes. I feel Gator Blood is my favorite. But I just bought a juicer and was thinking of trying my own. Anyone have any good recipe's or tips??

I just use V8 and the recipe that they use at Spahr's. I like theirs so it made sense for me.

I use Zing Zang too and I like Shahrs but I stop in Franks and get them just this side of Spahrs.

You really can't make a homemade mix that's better.

Garden District BM Mix is fantastic. Just the right amount of everything.

Yep, I love a Bloody Mary with V-8 & celery. I usually do pickled green beans or pickled okra with it, also.

That sounds awesome. A friend of mine used to make his own and it tasted great.

I like Zing Zang, with a couple of additives, but the little woman adds some Home Squeezed 'mator juice in her's....about 1/2-1/2
Start with V8, some horse radish, Worcestershire, lemon juice etc. In time you'll create something you like.

some horse radish,
Not sure why but this is a deal breaker for me when it comes to BMs

Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with you on that.

I'm not a Bloody expert. But I'm married to one. She uses a combo of ZZ and Clamato. Or Whiskey Willy's and Clamato if we have it. She's jacks it up with woster, veggies, garlic salt, lemons and not sure what else. It's a complicate but badass bloody. I love the idea of a Bloody, but can rarely drink a whole one.

I use a 64 oz V8 and small clamato for your ratio. Make my own worchestshire and horseradish(not much added), mix in cocktail onion, olive, fresh lemon and lime juice, cracked black pepper, Tony's and a couple drops of liquid crab boil. For the celery flavor you ZZ lovers are so fond of, put fresh in processor until smooth and add. Gives the bloody a little more body. I learned the celery deal when I tended bar at Ralph and Kacoos. Not practical for one bloody, but if you're making 5 gallons its the way to go.
