Time for new irons - best place around BR for fitting?

So after 12 years with the old DCI 990s its finally time to upgrade. Loved these irons but their time has passed.
Used to play all the time (low 80s, fairly consistently), & lately I'm lucky to play 3-4 times a yr. So, where my game is now I'm thinking I need to look at something in the "Game Improvement" area...but I'm open to anything.
Rather than ask everyone's opinions (& yes I've looked at some older threads on this), I know the best answer is to go get fitted. So...where would you recommend?
Should have a budget of up to $500 - but I'm open to a good used set to. Actually I really only need a 4-PW, as I have a 4-wedge set & like to hit a 5 wood.
Thanks guys!

Wait for a fitting day at a range and go then. Edwin Watts can't fit worth a shite, and many of the courses don't have the ability to (in depth).

Good call...I always wanted to go to one of those days but seems like I always miss them.
And yeah...starting to realize that not playing as much anymore (but hoping to pick it back up a little)...paying a shitload to get fitted doesn't make much sense.
Really just curious for firsthand opinions on sets like the ap2, callaway x22, ping (g20/i20?), taylor. Wouldn't mind digging for some lightly used ones to knock a few bucks off.
