I assume the non-conference will be much better next year. Gotta remember this schedule was still a Trent Johnson special (meaning no full allotment of games and 99.99% shite teams)

You give way too much credit to CTJ. Basketball is not like football, only about half the non-conf schedule is done prior to the offseason. CJJ had time to fill out the schedule, but yes, he was behind in the process. But CJJ deserves a portion of the blame for the schedule. 2 games short is all on the present coach

CJJ didn't start until nearly three months after the season ended, by that time a large portion of the schedule is finished for other schools therefore its tough to get people on the schedule. Just off hand, games I know CTJ scheduled:
@Marq
@UCI
@Boise
Mcneese
HBU

That's basically half right there, plus seton hall where we didn't have a choice either way.

Will LSU finally decide to quit being bitches and actually advertise the game or the basketball team? No? Then you have your answer...

Maybe next year they will see the light.

Anyone know when the last sell out was? I graduated in '10 and didn't miss many home games during the '08, '09 and '10 seasons. I don't remember a sell out / full crowd even in '08 when we had a good run.

Xavier in '09 might have been a sell out, it was close if it wasn't.

Also, just found on google that the 100 year anniversary game against Arkansas was a sell out (which was 2009 as well right?)

It was a sellout. Also Florida and Vandy that year. Don't know what the actual attendance was since LSU doesn't give that info.

I agree with those that say no chance, or very, very little one. Basketball is definitely 3rd fiddle at LSU. I have a really hard time getting excited about baseball, and think basketball is WAY more exciting and important and popular from a national perspective and from a money making point of view, but I'm in the minority among LSU fans on this subject. I wish it weren't the case.

It'll be a good crowd because it's a saturday game. But, unless LSU really pushes some advertising for this game, there won't be a sell-out.

It'll happen next year hopefully (and if you think Hickey is leaving after this year you are crazy)

I sure hope so

I assume you mean you hope he keeps his head on straight and doesn't get kicked off the team. if you're thinking he' would leave to play some type of basketball outside of college, you're a bit retard.

0%. The stadium could be at 60%, which is more than it's been just about all season.
