First time I've seen them release the new Call of Duty DLC at midnight

New gun sucks, maps are at the very least the as good/bad as the ones already out. I must have missed the Xbox threads on it. What's the consensus?

This Revolution DLC that just came out for PS3 a few hours ago. I'm leaning towards bruce's opinion of it. The peacemaker pretty much sucks.

The maps aren't too bad, I forget the names of each one but the skate park, the desert resort and downhill ski park are pretty decent. The water map blows. The Peacekeeper is in between an SMG and AR...not quite long enough to do really far shots and not quite fast enough to do CQB, but put quick mag and silencer on it and it's pretty good.

You have two PC trolls that havent touched BLOPS II in months. I wouldnt take anything from Stout or Bruce seriously.
The maps are overall solid. This is a domination mode opinion.
Grind is a blast. My favorite of the 4. Fairly symmetrical with flanking routes but not too many to piss you off when you have map dominance. B flag on DOMI is a toss up. The way it should be. Quick reflexes are a must
Downhill is meh. Big which all these "snipers" bitch about wanting. But not an open cane field which I guess would make them happy happy. Lots of useless space behind the flags but thats typical. B is a bit frustrating because of the window. Nice to look at. short on the mid range firefights.
Hydro is impressive. The flood is cool and the map design is very balanced. Nice looking. Fast paced.shocker. sniping isnt easy. lots of corners to camp but lots of cover too.
Miirage is as solid a map as any launch map. Gorgeous. Very balanced. Loads of areas to run if flanking or getting out of a trap. Lots of overlooks. Tons of fun.
Peacekeeper weapon is amazing. almost OP but thats a given since all SMG's are OP in this game it seems. I run silencer only and thats all i need. Gun is rapesauce.
DLC grade from someone who plays 10hrs a week. B+. Most maps "suck" when I first play them because I dont know where shite is. I cant get a feel for my "spot" as quick as I do on maps ive played for 3-4 months. But I have my areas down now and do very......very well. Give them a weeks playtime and they grow on you.

its a cluster frick because of the multiple levels but its fun. very chaotic. Its a nice variance from the previous maps. You cant really mow them down because they come from everywhere.
