Bunch of punks leaving the game at the ene once they lose so it doesn't register the win or stats. Bunch of BS right there

Ok, what setting are y'all using?

Move the reticle or keep it fixed.

Swinging with the buttons or with the sticks?

I don't like the new throwing mode. I think I preferred the sticks to throw.

I just played a quick run through to see how it felt. Will play more tomorrow night.

It pisses me off they took Griffey's stance and swing out the game. I hate having to go through 200 stances to find one similar

I play classic settings as much as possible. I hate swinging with just sticks.

- HOF hitting and pitching
- Guess Pitch, Strike Zone, Hot/Cold Zones Off
- Pure Analog swing/bunt
- Pulse Pitching
- Analog Throwing

That's what I use.

Do you hate yourself?

Everyone in our online franchise has wives/kids/demanding jobs now...I think we are going to dumb it down a little...all star difficulty most likely. No cold zones but still use guess pitch. We used to play more seriously but I think it's going to be more of an outlet this year. The game is fun when it's hard, but we don't want to be playing 20 inning, 1-0 marathons

Nah, I don't hate myself but I like a challenge. I've also been playing The Show for a few good years now. With the timing window for hitting increased, it makes HOF a bit easier. Also, all the added crap (Strike Zone, Hot/Cold Zone) make it harder to pick the ball up out of the pitchers hand.

When I used guess pitch (especially online) I found myself just picking one part of the zone over and over again and I was usually right. By being right, I would convince myself that it was always going to be hittable and wound up striking out much more than usual. I'd rather just be patient and force them to pitch to me. Getting in a couple of 2-0 and 3-0 counts in the beginning of the game really disorients my opponent and then they start trying to paint corners and wind up missing and I make them pay. Yea, the extra inning games (i've had 2 out of 4 go extra innings) can be tiresome, but it's also very exciting.

My first extra inning game went 16 innings and I won 1-0 on a sacrifice fly.

My 2nd extra inning game was insane. I was down 2-0 until the 6th, and hit a two run bomb with BJ Upton. 8th inning my opponent blasts a mistake pitch with Josh Hamilton to go up 3-2. Bottom 9, I string together a couple of base hits and then hit a gapper to to tie it up at 3. Fast Forward a few innings, he would put up runs, and then i would put up some more. 15th inning, he gets a run, and I lose the game leaving a runner on 3rd. I think the final score was 6-5.

Meh. It's to be expected when you play online games. Everyone wants to use the best team in the game to gain an advantage.

Oddly enough, I held Pujols to an 0-7 night

You know what I can't stand about online players?

Their inability to not fricking find anyway possible to gain the upperhand. I HATE figs who do nothing but center swing. It's such a bitch way to play the game. Learn how to fricking swing at pitches in particular places.

I've had the game freeze but there is a glitch to the quit. Right after your last out and before it brings up the final score. Exit the game. Records no quit or stats.

Bitches been pulling that on me for two days. I'm 1-0 with no quits. Played 7 games now.

What the frick is all this fly over type shite in RTTS? And why can't I hear announcers anymore except when the game is over. I don't like having to press x everytime it's my turn.

I stopped using guess pitch and I'm a better hitter bc of it

They wanted to "immerse" the gamer in the atmosphere of the game. Taking away the announcers unless they are talking about you and something you've accomplished, is part of their plan. They want you to hear all of the on-field chatter, or the crowd reactions to your play.

Nah. You have to quit right after the last out. There is a glitch. Trust me.

I don't know what's worse. That or the constant lag. You can't even see the ball.

Their online play is remarkably shitty.

Online play always sucks for the first week or so when a game launches.

If a patch or two doesn't fix it within a week or two then that's shitty.
