Haven't tried online yet, but I'm dropping bombs with the Bravos.. Our lineup is so stacked. Went 5-5 with Freeman including a bomb. Hitting is definitely easier. Game isn't as frustrating.

I played two games online last night...
The first game I just jumped straight into a quick match, and I am guessing that it defaults to like rookie hitting and rookie pitching. I was trying to hit corners and what not, but my opponent jacked like 3 homeruns in the first inning, and his PCI (Plate Coverage Indicator) literally took up the entire box. So I dropped that game in the 1st.
My 2nd game, was MUCH better. I actually got into the lobbies and set up a HOF hitting/pitching with my settings that I like (Strike Zone off, Hot/Cold zones off, Guess Pitch off, Balks on)... We made it 8 innings with very minimal lag. The game went 16 innings with me winning 1-0 on a sac fly, but from inning 9 to 16 it was REALLY bad lag. When I backed out, I noticed that they had added about 20 new lobby rooms, so I am attributing the lag to their server side updates. I will probably play a few more games online tonight.
Has anyone tried the new catching system in RTTS? I can't figure out how to catch a damn fly ball

Picked this up last night. Hopefully it's as fun as I remember. Road to the Show was fun 4 years ago if I remember correctly.

Can anyone tell me which MLB2K game is the "best." I'm looking to pick one up just to frick around with but if the most recent one is everyones favorite I'll just grab that. I tried playing my roommates MLB2K10 last night and I couldnt pitch or hit worth shite. I hit a home run with Chipper Jones but everything else was a foul tip.

I don't really know to be honest with you. This is not trying to turn your comment into a The Show vs 2K thread, but I remember for a fact that MLB 2K9 was absolutely horrible. I remember because I was in wal-mart looking at games and they had The Show up on one of the TVs. I was playing it and I fell in love with The Show right there. Come to find out, I was loving MLB 07 The Show over MLB 2K9 (I was a 360 fan boy at one point). I remember 2K9 had issues with outfielders literally doing barrel rolls in the outfield trying to pick up a ball that was on the warning track against the wall.

Reminds me of ken Griffey jr baseball on Super Nintendo. If a ball was up against the wall you were screwed because your player would just run into the wall and fall down over and over again while the bases cleared

So , I think the new non announcers in rtts was a wrong move. Would they be able to put an update out to give gamers the option to turn the announcers on, or am I SOL

From doing a little reading on operationsports it seems that as far as player movement and graphics 07 was the best but it had problems with simming and cpu subs. I read that a lot were saying that 2K12 was almost an exact copy of 2K11. Does anyone have any preference over 2K12 and 2K11?

I usually do a couple of RTTS, a realastic one and a simple one where my guy puts up ridiculous numbers. On my simple one, my guy was in the minors and got traded from the Astros to the Rockies for Ty Wigginton. The next season he got traded from the Rockies to the Astros for Ty Wigginton. I was loaned to the Rockies.

Saying I have 3 hours to go but I was already at 61%. It said 3 hours from start, so I'm guessing once the actual game downloads, the other shite will be pretty quick
