show just iircs me, after the 1st or 2nd time a police officer walked into a room to "search" it, and amounted to basically a 6 year old "making sure their room is clean" .. I was able to look past it - after the 50th time....... not so much
I'm ok with it for now, but that really is the only way to keep this show going, by having the good guys continue to do maddeningly stupid things. This probably would have been better as a mini series than a full series. They really need to make more mini series.

And all of the characters are stupid. No, nothing they do makes sense.

this cracked me up. The cops wouldnt open closets or anything, just casually look at the floor for two seconds
If youre with the cops in this show, you are fricked

Well if they found all the killers and solved the case in the first couple of episodes that wouldn't really make for a good show either.

I like how iceman sneaks around this warehouse while KB is dying. Ok, stupid she has a knife, you have a gun. Your friend is dying. fricking move in and shoot her.

No, it's the small decisions.

When the wife of the pyro guy kills tge black guy and runs away its pure hilarity and poor writing
First off, the husband survives a point blank gun shot. Then attacks Bacon which takes bacon 2 secods to defend
In that 2 seconds the chick ran away on foot. They are in a wide open neighborhood WHERE DID SHE GO. She would be 5 feet at most from where she was and he didnt even attempt to look for her

I really enjoy it. I'd have to put The Americans above it.

Yeah he doesn't chase her. My gf and I enjoy the show because its so easy to make fun of. It is so fricking dumb.

1st episode
They have no clue whose in this cult or whatever. But they do know the names and faces off all the people that have visited that dude in prison over the past however many years
Then the first twist comes and whoa this guy is apart of it oh no!!! Wait play it back, he visited him in prison!! Omg!
Wait, why didnt they pull all the names and faces from the prison footage and investigate the frick out of all those people??

I mean we could do this all day. Verdict is in: following blows.

Yep. I do enjoy making fun of it though. Theres the silver lining

I will say that despite the enormous gaps in logic that it manages to keep a good pace for 2 or 3 episodes but aside from an awful everything, theyre trying to spread out a 5,6 episode plot over 14 episodes. This show is a disaster in almost every single area.
Jesus, I though Alcatraz was bad.

Pshh 14 episodes? With decent ratings, they will stretch this same plot over 5-8 seasons.
Posted on 2/27/13 at 11:56 am to wildtigercat93
Well I'm assuming this one plot is limited to this season.
Posted on 2/27/13 at 11:58 am to DelU249
Doubt it. They think theyve struck gold with this plot so they will do everything to stretch it out
Soon itll be everybody is in on it except Kevin Bacon.

My biggest pet peeve is that evidently Joe Carroll can turn dozens and dozens of followers in all aspects(as a matter of convenience) of life and professions. Especially, cops and FBI agents, who can perfrom their day to day jobs for years, just biding their time to do this convoluted plot of his.
That being said, it's fun to watch.

When I found out Kevin Williamson was writing it, we started predicting the next events on what would be the most illogical thing, since then we've been on the money.

can't say because I haven't seen much else, but I like TF so far .. it's walking a fine line though, I find myself on the verge of losing interest every episode.
