Even if we make room for him under the cap, we'd still be giving up a lot for him and we have a lot of holes to fill.

Don't know, man, Loomis will figure it out. Hell, he's doled out a lot of cash to undeserving players, at least this payout won't be waste.

Not if we offer a lot of veteran leadership in the deal. Roman Harper, Pierre Thomas, Chase Daniels, Courtney Roby, and Jabari Greer.

Yep, get rid of Will Smith, Harper, Greer, Jenkins, and every other overpaid vet on defense that isn't worth a shite.

$14 million a year and I think that he wants more. He holds out almost every year. He's really good, but he has an overinflated sense of self worth. No cornerback is worth that much. And he is coming off an ACL.

Do you know out cap situation? Brees new ginormous contract?
Revis knack for asking a kings ransom on contracts of his?

No way. Why would I want to create a 10 vs 10 situation every week in which I will always have less invested in my ten then my opponent. Eliminating an opponent's best receiver at a cost of 14 to 15 million a year doesn't seem wise when the rest of your defense is weak anyway. It wasn't like we lost games because we couldn't stop #1 wide outs. We lost because we couldn't stop the bulk of their offensive players.

What games you watched last season? The Saints secondary couldn't stop any damn body last season. Patrick robinson will be another damn bust
