Got to try a 61' Latour today. It was a religious experience.

Had a horizontal of the 1961's about 4 years ago on the first growths. They are beautiful but the 82's are really something special because of their bit of youth to their maturity. Actually did a flight of 1999 latour, haut brion, and pavie almost a week ago.

I didn't want to brag tooooooo much. The 61 was still so vibrant and balenced. Prolly helped it was in a magnum. Surprisingly lots of red fruits. Lavender and baking spices on the nose. The color was like muddy water.

I was at work and someone had drank it at their house I assume then came and dropped off both bottles with about 6oz left in the bottle.
