Danny Manning

He was magical back in 1988. Pretty much took his team on his shoulders to the title. But you can say that about a lot of players.

I haven't watched a lot of college basketball but I'll say Antoine Jamison

I have seen several great players in person, but Chris Jackson was unbelievable. Probably only exceeded by Pistol Pete (a little before my time).

I'm only going to claim live which is pretty much all SEC:

DA Layne - great guard
Brandon Bass - could do it all
Tayshaun Prince - could do it all
Marcus Thornton

Grant Hill had a really underrated senior yr. UNC was defending champs but he took an undermanned Duke team to the ACC title and then had a Manning-like NCAA run before Scotty Thurman happened. the defensive job he did vs. Big Dog in the Elite 8 was legendary.

PJ I am half your age and know 2xs as much.

The fact you need LASIK and can only see half of a TV explains a lot

I don't really remember watching Walton or Alcinder, but the best I can remember was David Thompson. He was amazing at NC State.

My earliest memory is the 92 tourney, so probably Christian Laettner.

He stomped on Timberlake and should have been kicked out of the game.
