Full House (early TGIF), Family Matters, Boy Meets World, and Step By Step were the four most popular TGIF shows.

I think Mr. Cooper is up there... it was better than filler like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, easily.

Other considerations: Perfect Strangers, Dinosaurs

These are the only 3 that mattered they always tried to put in another 30 min sitcom in to cover the 2 hours between 7 and 9 on Friday nights.

Little bit of trivia. The cat was voiced by Nick Bakay. At the same time he was doing the voice, he had a weekly SportsCenter segment that detailed all his bets for the week and how they worked out.

ETA: looked it up, it was saturday morning NBC
