Don't expect Tony Brown to commit real early, either, even though we've led with him for almost two years.

He seems very self confident and he should be; from his demeanor it seems he won't make a decision until he is sure, but he knows how badly LSU wants him so I don't think he will dangle the carrot like Collins did. I think he's a better person than that, so if it's not LSU I think he will break our hearts quickly and cleanly.

It's a little different situation than Collins; Collins, if he would've committed early to Bama would've had a difficult life every day in school, on the street, just anywhere he went. LF, being in NOLA and St Aug wouldn't hear as much, in my opinion.

That's what I'm wondering.

What's your over/under on Tony Brown?

I hope you're right, Memphis. Either way, I don't think we have anything to worry about. I forgot we'll have Hardeman dogging him, too.

My opinion is that since I believe LF to be a high character guy, he will commit early (to whoever he decides to go w) just out of respect for coach miles and his staff... Leonard's not stupid, he knows LSU basically put all of their eggs in his basket so I doubt he tries to screw them over...

unless some of that crutchfield arrogance rubs off on him

that last part was mildly sarcastic

Sorry I was taking out all the money in my account and putting it on the under. Should be wrapped up by summer, before senior season at the absolute latest

I think they will try to get him to announce on either signing day or at one of the AA games being the best RB.

If not i think he will probably do it early December. Probably wait until his sr season is done. I'd be shocked if he went somewhere else. I've heard from many people that say LSU all the way. People that know him and teammates etc

Hardeman, Paris, Beloved, and the whole brown family.

Oh and absolutely nothing to worry about. People that make a big deal out of him not coming to the JR days are being stupid, he's seen the campus multiple times and he knows how helpful it would be for him & beloved to be together at LSU.

I hated him onside kicking up 50 against my Christian Life kids in the Dome. BS reason saying he had no kicker.
