Said that His players would refrain from any bad behavior or "bench jockeying" and that any bad blood/feelings wouldn't be coming from the LSU bench. Dayum. Sounded serious.

He is probably aware of the regional issues years ago at the Box. Plus the softball teams hate each other. He's taking the high road here, doesn't want to instigate.

The last few times we've played them its been a snoozer. LSU players acted .... well like it was a mid week game. Basically sleeping in the dugout.
Very very few kids on our team think anything more of ULL than Tulane, tech, and SLU.

Based on what. Nothing has happened between these teams in 10 years. These kids were 8 when the drama went down. We not talking about a duke NC rivalry. Nothing will happen.

Have you been to a ULL baseball game lately? LSU has its fair share of people hassling the outfielders, but at ULL against LSU? I'd think it would get pretty ugly.

They usually give the outfielders and guys in the pen a hard time but I'm sure lsu has never done that. The same guys heckling will also be cooking for LSU players too.

I don't want to put words in PM's mouth but it sure seemed as if he was saying that he understood the crowd would be hostile, but ULL needed to control their players because lsu was there to play ball, period. And he wasn't smiling as he usually does.

A good bit of the players that play for SLU also played tournament ball with LSU guys in High school. I don't think LSU players feel the same towards ULL. I actually think LSU players want to beat SLU more because many of the guys know each other from both teams. After one of the football games this year, LSU and SLU players went to Tigerland. I believe some of them went to the same high school. SLU wants to beat us because they had to go to the 2nd best(or third) baseball school in the state because LSU did not want them.
