Because it has the least amount of flavor of any primal?

ETA: And talk about the early bird special. It's not even 5:00!

Then it seems strange that you are posting random pictures of dinners past.

I'm a woman with good taste and I like filets, nice and thick and crusty on the outside. I like ribeyes, aslo. Strips are good, but not my favorite. I prefer bone in steaks. A bone in filet is a loverly thing.

Filets are glorious, not sure WTF you're talking about. Blue rare, not even warmed in the middle. I'd prefer it to not even see the fire. Just chop it up and put it on my plate. Or cut it thin, pound it out and serve it with olive oil, capers and cracked pepper. Making me hungry to think about.

Filets are awesome, as are most steaks cooked properly.

I will never understand your obsession with blue rare/cold raw meat. Just not much flavor development in my opinion. But I appreciate your fondness of it.

I enjoy filets, strips and ribeyes. All things being equal, I guess I prefer a ribeye. Problem is that I often seem to get inferior ribeyes, even at high end places. I find that a filet is more of a sure thing as far as the cut goes, so I do order them sometimes.

I love filets because they are so tender.

Porterhouse is the perfect solution. There is nothing better than a thick medium rare porterhouse.
