Oh trust me. I'm fully prepared. I'm just going to enjoy this season as much as possible. So many players lose form when they aren't THE guy though. I wish he would just stay.

Nope. In his current for Bale is a top 5 most "dangerous" players. Not a top 5 best.

I don't think he's going to fetch Spuds a Top 5 all time transfer fee (adjusted for inflation). Most of the players who commanded the highest fees were the best players on the planet at the time of the transfer. While Bale might be on the best form of any non-Messi/Ronaldo player on the planet right now, he's never been a very consistently elite player until this season.

Kaka, Ronaldo, Zidane all were considered the best players on the planet when they were bought by Real.

Bale will probably fetch Tottenham a £50 million fee, about what Chelsea paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres.

Paying £50m for a winger not named Cristiano is fricking idiotic. Paying £50m for anyone, really, is absolutely ridiculous.

On the cusp if not there. Probably 6-10. Both he and Bale are more likely to score a dramatic goal to win a match, but they aren't better players than say a Pirlo or Iniesta.

Yup. Zidane is the only guy on that list that is worth that kind of money. CR7's fee is just stupid.
