Not that I am aware of. I am sure LSU will get a quality QB this year regardless. I just noticed it hadn't been mentioned on here and knew LSU had interest in him.

If we had a thread for every kid that visited LSU and the coaches contacted we would have 500-1000 different threads on here a year for each kid. This guy was never mentioned before by anyone on this board and I'm pretty certain no one knew anything about him before this thread. If he doesn't have an offer, and is not from LA, we 99% of the time do not care. This is in that 99% of the time.
This type of lucid, well thought out response has no place on this message board.
That being said, I don't think LSU offered Riley a grayshirt until December or roughly 2 months before signing day. Here, we are talking about a recruit for 2014 who has just started the recruiting process and has already been shown interest and visited LSU early on.

All the articles I could link to are beyond a pay wall on Scout and Rivals. Let me see if I can find something on a free site. He has visited for an LSU junior day so it should be out there on some LSU site one would think.

We're talking about him because you started a thread, and we're saying nobody on our end cares because he doesnt hold an offer and isn't a LA kid. I dont know how many times I have to repeat this, we, do, not, care. In the future dont a start on the LSU RB on a guy who holds no LSU offer from Texas who is going elsewhere, we dont care.

It's not like we had him and just 5 other guys on campus. We had a bunch. That should tell you something if he visited and still no one knows anything about him before this thread.

I don't know about that. You have probably had 2 or 3 Junior Days in February. That would mean you invited 10 to 15 for each one. That seems very high to me. For example, TCU tends to have smaller junior days but in the 2 or 3 they have had this month, they have maybe invited only 5 or 6 QBs. I am sure LSU cycles through a lot more kids but 10 to 15 QBs for a Junior Day would be excessive and frankly, an insult to the kids if true. It is probably more likely that the number is around 5 kids or so per junior day.
