Ford Pos. rank
40 yard dash 4.50 5th
Bench press 25 T-7th
Vertical jump 38.5 3rd
Broad jump 130.0 1st
3 cone drill 6.87 T-5th
20 yard shuttle 4.25 T-11th
60 yard shuttle. 11.43 4th

That was a very good showing for Ford, and hopefully it will help his draft stock.

And also, how did Ford do the same amount of bench reps as both Faulk and Longeran.

His arms are likely shorter which gives him more leverage...it's harder for long armed people to bench press.

His combine didn't hurt him. He will be drafted on day 3 and get his chance on a team and that's all that matters.

That doesn't really have anything to do with it for him. He's a workout warrior. He was top 5 of the team in bench max and I think he squated the most as well. He also was one of the strongest for power clean.

Are these rankings for RBs only? Or overall?

RBs.

There were some fast 40s in the WR group.

because of his position he won't go higher than the late rounds but he will every chance in the world to make a roster given his kickoff return ability which was really good last year.

He needs to work on his blocking a lot but he can easily be a 3rd back on a lot of teams

I thought he would run sub 4.5.

I guess the combination of quicks and speed made him appear faster on the field.

Story in him has always been that it takes a little long (relatively) to get up to speed but then he's got great speed.

Would like to see his current 100 time.

I love that his official time was faster than Kenjon Barner's.
