Lee's Drive In/Diner in Hammond (Posted on 2/24/13 at 8:07 pm)
Has anybody been lately? I used to go often when I was young and some in my early teens. I remember loving their burgers and shakes. Are they any good? Are their burgers freshly made or are they frozen patties? I was thinking about stopping by on my next trip to Hammond. Thanks!

I used to love that place when I was in college. I haven't eaten at Lee's since that time in 1985 I found a clump of "natural" in my club sandwich. Either someone was on chemo of there was a cat fight in the kitchen that day.

I don't think that a guy that hasn't eaten their in 28 yrs is a good representative of the present state of any restaurant but thanks for the visual. I went about 4 months ago. It was good, not jaw dropping but good. No hairball.

I had breakfast for lunch if I remember correctly. My wife might have had a burger, don't remember. I do remember talking about it after and enjoying it.
