I know mine did, I was all aboard the Hughes train.

Honestly, now that we made the switch to 3-4, I wouldn't mind getting him for cheap (I assume his contract should be up in the next year or so). I remember when he was coming out, a lot of people said he would probably be a better fit for the 3-4.

another failed hope... remember Sergio Kindle?

Kindle was released from the Ravens' practice squad earlier this month and has been working out for teams during Super Bowl week. If healthy, he should land a reserve/future contract. Kindle has appeared in three career games since being the No. 43 overall pick in 2010

Yes, he has a heart condition, but so does Arian Foster.

Read somewhere that it may have been due to losing to much weight or being dehydrated.
He is cleared to participate in pro day I think.

That was the strangest damn story. Wouldn't mind bringing him to camp for a look. Just make sure he stays away from all stairwells...

For Star Lotulelei to fall to us the heart thing would have be a major concern - so I would pass

From what I'm hearing its not too serious a deal so he will be gone well before the 15th pick

Either way its not happening

The only way he fall that far is if his heart is about to explode, and then he probably wont get drafted at all .

If he's cleared by doctors he won't be there

When it comes to Top 5 to 10 picks question marks like these can be significant. That's two elite players (w/Jarvis Jones) that have big asterisks. They might be proven to be little risk. But if counted as risk at all it could be enough to move them down a few spots. By the time ya get to #15 the risk/reward ratio formula is a lot different than if sitting in the Top 5.

The Utah defensive tackle came to the combine as a star. Mel Kiper had him in the top five. He was considered the best defensive tackle in the draft. But an echocardiogram determined that his left ventricle was pumping only at 44 percent, so doctors wouldn't let him work out. He is trying to find out if this is a serious heart problem or just the byproduct of losing about 10 pounds in three days. Still, his uncertainty caused a panic toward the top of the draft. The hope is that he can get a clean bill of health and then work out for teams at Utah next month. The good news is that doctors found a problem that he wouldn't have known about had he not been tested at the combine. College football teams don't provide echocardiograms because of the cost. NFL teams spare no expense to check out prospects.

use'm up 'n move'm along
