Watched a few of these just now and kind of on the fence about it. You do something like this to attract attention and more often than not its going to be attention you don't like. The cops have no idea if you are a felon, if the guns registered to you, if its stolen, etc, etc. So just give him your Id so he can run your name and go along with your business.
On the other hand I know that is violating ones rights and you do have the right to carry without having to be hassled by every cop that sees you or gets complaints about you.

you live in the U.K.?

Guy knew what he was doing and knew what was going to happen.

Delaware v. Prouse, was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court held that police may not stop motorists without any probable cause to suspect crime or illegal activity, to check their driver's license and auto registration.

Texas, (1979), was a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court determined that the defendant's arrest in El Paso County, Texas for a refusal to identify himself, after being seen and questioned in a high crime area, was not based on a reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing and thus violated the Fourth Amendment
