Anybody been to Olivier's on Decatur St?

A friend from B.R. is coming in to New Orleans and she wants to go to Olivier's on Decatur St. It looks like a tourist trap to me. Have any of you been there?

It is, but one of the better traps. Much better than places like Oceana Grill, Maspero's and 20 other places.

Thanks. I've never been to Oceana Grill. Are you talking about Cafe Maspero on Decatur, that sandwich place, or Pierre Maspero on Chartre? I didn't think Cafe Maspero was comparable.

I went a while back and really enjoyed it. I had some type of sampler platter and my favorite was the blackened red fish. They have a delicious hurricane made with fresh fruit juice.

I've been twice and both times was really good.

Kinda tacky/outdated decor but the food tasted very good and the service was great.
