The jump between medium and hard must be huge if u arent being challenged. I was constantly running out of salt and still having lotd of enenies to kill because even with my carbine fully updraded it takes a whole clip to kill someone. I never really felt like i could get that strategic because most of the fights are just throwing hordes and hordes of enemies at you. There is a fight where the boss will infinitely respawn the enemies so u cant get too tactical with that

I've read that hard reviles a lot more of the game. Should I restart to hard over easy?

I dunno. Nothing to compare to. shite feels dangerous though.

I just use the undertow (upgraded once) and the lightning (upgraded once) and hit them with water and then zap em and it seems to help me conserve some bullets. It also zaps enemies close to them.

medium is much more fun. i've only died once up to hall of heroes
you dont have to wait for ur shield to respawn every time u take 2 shots from a basic NPC

I played the game on hard up till the part where the guys are being re-spawned by that one boss. It got so ridiculous that I just said frick it and powered through till the end on easy.

Is the pistol that bad arse upgraded? I've read that a couple times on here already.

You can pretty much keep it the entire game if you upgrade it along the way.

Stout says it is. I stayed with the carbine and machine gun, but am thinking of going with something else for the machine gun

I wasn't a fan of the machine gun/repeater/burst at all. I rolled with the sniper rifle and carbine a good bit.

Just started 1999 mode, and I'm at the part where you get the shield. Fun little easter egg: start shooting at them and hilarity ensues
