The Lady Tigers take on Missouri today in a game that was postponed because of weather. Just heard on the pre-game show that LSU will only have 8 players suited up for the game today. Baker is still suspended and Sheila Boykin has come down with Guillain-Barre Syndrome.............the same illness that took out Latear Eason two seasons ago. Here's the game notes........

Game Notes

This delay really screws us for a game we need against UK.

Wow, that's too bad for both of them, I have to think Baker may be gone for good, lsualum? thoughts...We still should handle these guys, they only have one real chance and that is threes, which we should be able to defend..

Ladies are not looking too bad today. Although, they should be up by more, considering all the circumstances, I'll take it....

LSU 54-50....about 9 minutes to go. They are trying to give this away with turnovers and bad shots.

We have led by 12 and they got to within 2. Built the lead up to 10 and they have now tied it. Heading to OT.

Phew.....we survived that one. 78-74 in OT. Keeping our hopes alive for possible post-season play. Huge game on Sunday.

McKinney clutch in OT. Hopefully Plaisaince and Kenney are fine or Nikki might have to suit up Sunday.

That was a very clutch win yesterday. The game was closer than it should have been. But by the same token, we only played with eight players, and sometimes you need these kinds of games to make the kids dig down deep for a win. Plaisance was awesome as usual, Bianca Lutley woke up from her slumber, Webb continues to be her consistent self, and McKinney continues to improve and give us great defense in the paint. I'm tellin' you guys.....................this team will compete for the SEC championship next season. They're just having to go through their growing pains this season.

With that being said, here's the writeup...............

LSU 78, UM 74

Oh.............................and we are now on a three game winning streak. So, I guess this is no longer "the worst record in 14 years".
